Random fact about me: I’m a mood writer. When my mood’s off, I usually can’t write substantially. Much less, properly.
I really wanted to write extensively for Part 2 of my Long Weekend Diaries but I just feel so out of my element. Will post photos, instead. This post is dedicated to one person I really miss.
After several weeks of crazy downpour, Mr. Sun finally showed up and we are fortunate enough to have two long weekends. Yay! I’ve never been a very big fan of it (not that I don’t mind getting time off from work) simply because I don’t usually go out of town but this month’s long weekends had been different for me. Well, I didn’t go on extended out of town trips but I did have packed weekends! Yay! 🙂
Thus, I now have my Long Weekend Diaries. Hehe! What I loved about both long weekends is that I got to spend time with my family, friends and with J, my tall-slash-dark-slash-handsome boyfriend (he might be reading this! hehe). ❤
Haul post coming up! The Curious Cat did a little shopping and got a few neat additions to her kikay stash. Ooooohhh, exciting!
In an attempt for a little organization, let’s divide the haul into two groups: 1) nail products and 2) ELF products. Ready? 🙂
a. Color Club All About Color (L-R: Pretty in Platinum, Who Are You Wearing, Wild Orchid, Pardon My French)
b. Cutex Nail Color with Keratin in So Mudly in Love
c. ELF Nail Polish in Nude
I’m not really a high-maintenance kind of gal when it comes to my nails. I don’t have regular manicures and can live without nail polish on my nails.
Gong Xi Fa Cai to all my friends! I got a feeling that this will be an even better year. 🙂
The year of the Rabbit was somehow good to me. It found me working for the public’s interest in government, enriching my spirituality, carrying out an apostolate, strengthening family ties, forging lifetime friendships, opening up to a wider horizon and finding a love that will hopefully last a lifetime.
To close the Year of the Rabbit, this is how I spent my day. Of course, ending a year is just as important as beginning one!

Wow, I’d say this blog has almost fallen into my list of ‘blogs-that-I-started-but-abandoned-halfway’ if not for my renewed (yes, you read that right) interest in blogging.
I was scanning various blogs for the past few days and got so inspired with these people who blog as a hobby. Wow, where do they get the time for it (and the energy as well)? Haha.
It amazes me how a lot of bloggers can just focus on one topic per blog and write so much! I feel like my blog is more of a last-minute, quickly made fruit salad – a hodge podge of different topics. I’d love for this blog to have just one topic but what the heck, the first baby step for me is to blog on a regular basis. Then maybe I can realistically move on to narrowing my focus.
So yes, consider this as a second attempt in my ‘young adult blogging’ phase. I’ll be posting very random topics from time to time.
So much for feeling very organized and OC. Now excuse me while I inject more randomness in my life.
It’s always interesting to look back at one’s blog/s, go through it and discover how one has changed and grown (hopefully) through time.
Lately, I’ve been feeling more and more growing ‘pains’ (okay, so there are perks also) in life – getting to go out more often with friends, starting to travel a little bit more (wait til I replace my lost passport, yeehaa!), having the freedom to start making decisions for myself, paying more bills (end of the month just doesn’t really look that good anymore heehee), having my own room, buying my own stuff, and essentially testing the waters of independence. It hasn’t been a smooth ride so far but I have been very blessed with stuff and people that/who help make the decision-making process a little bit easier and less traumatic. 😉
And so, as the curious cat ventures out to meet ‘Teh World’, I hope I can capture her experiences vividly in this blog. And hopefully, this will be something good to look back upon after x-number of years.
